autumn.

It’s been a week since I posted, I feel it to be quite a long gap. I had things running in my mind and was unable to write something which sounded good. I kept trying, and ended up writing this. Hope you’d like reading it:”)

As the summer fades away
and the winter sets in
I live in between their times.
I turn the skies grey
with clouds of water droplets
which never falls
Instead prevents the sunrays
from reaching the plants.
As I keep the weather still
plants cry by shedding their leaves.
I make people lazy and uninterested in things
as I make them feel melancholic.
Still,
They honour my presence
by celebrating Halloween
to remember the ones who left us.
May be, if I had given something in ample
like the sunshine by summer
Snow by winter
and enormous water by monsoon
I would have been welcomed by all.
But I gave nothing and took something
and ended up being called the unhealthy season.
May be, due to the rapid changes
my character may change sometime
thereby making people remember my real name.
I’d like to be called “The Autumn”.
