seashore.

Hello people!
Happy to see you all back after sometime. This post has some happiness in it. Read and relax yourself amidst a busy week in this unsettling times.

It was a pleasant cloudy day.
Trees brushing my window, birds chirping
breeze sneaking through unclosed doors
All these presented to me a wonderful evening.

To make it even more blissful, I decided to pass some time by the seashore.
I woke up from the bed after a brief after-lunch nap
washed my face, had some biscuits
and started walking towards the beach in my casuals
with just an empty shoulder bag and a water bottle on its side.

I decided not to call someone to give me company
as I had nature and my mind with me.
The beach was hardly a kilometre away from my house
and I didn’t want to rush the beautiful walk with a vehicle.
The beach was at the end of the straight road I was walking in
There were ice-cream shops, pani-puri stalls
book stores, fashion outlets, gadgets and their spare shops
and other shops all through the way.
I knew they existed, but never paid my attention to them.
It emphasized the thought
that I must be focussed on the destination
and not to get diverted by any hindrances in the way.

In a few minutes of leisure walk, I was there with ease.
The water level in my bottle hasn’t dropped
It told me that being focussed makes you numb to time and energy.
I removed my flip-flops, placed them in the bag
and stepped on to the sand.
It was one of the best reflexology I’ll ever experience.
As I walk towards the shore
I saw kids play with frisbees and tennikoit rings
full of joy and competitive spirit.

There were eateries and stalls all the way till the shore
but I chose to go straight.
I never liked playing in the sea water as a child
as when we walk back, all the beach sand sticks on to us.
So, I chose to sit at a distance and drench myself
in the scenic beauty of the shore.
Beside me there were people of all ages
trying to build a sand-castle with those buckets and shovels they had brought.
The sound of the waves hitting the shore
the sight of the waves racing with each other to reach the shore
people yelling in happiness and excitement as the wave passes through them
Everything calmed me down.
As the sun went into the sea
the land breeze started setting in
and the sea breeze was reducing.
I stood up, turned back and started walking towards my home.

While coming back, all those shops and stalls I had seen earlier
were more beautiful with lights and even more people.
I said sighing to myself
It all looks better when our mind is free, calm and has found peace.

Hope you all have got some relaxation reading this post. Now it’s time for some announcements.
