Clouds

My eyes always had the habit of gaping at you.
You keep moving, but my eyes never felt your absence.

I let my pain fly away with you.
I believe that you carry them with you to far away places,
And never let them come to me again.

I would come to you irrespective of how I feel,
You always incentivize my mood.

I don’t mind your colour,
While being orange, blue, dark, pink however you present yourself to me
I always adore your beauty.

You never hurt me even at your bad times.
You are beautiful, even when you cry.

To you, I’m just a point when you see from there.
But, for me, you are a companion with whom I share every thought of mine.
Not only to my eyes, even to my conscience you look like a cover over me always.

When I feel the sun rays piercing through my skin,
You bring a sigh of relief in me, by putting yourself in the middle, taking all the roasts,
Thereby protecting me from it. How good are you?!

You taught me a life lesson,
Things keep changing its shape and moving,
It’s in the eyes of the observer to pick the beauty out of it and,
to not ponder over the change and absence.

How big, how blue, how beautiful you are!
Dear sky, you always have me.

Hey people!

This is Koushik an 18 year-old student.
I developed the habit of writing pieces in recent times and it really has got my interest. I shall be posting one-liners of my philosophies and pieces of observations and admirations I have over life and things around. I gathered confidence to post everything I write and save them virtually.
